Volunteers are now being recruited to steward all our installations and events, which are all situated at incredible locations around the island, including inside HMP Verne!

Roles range from working directly with artists assisting with installation, invigilating artworks, leading volunteer teams or stewarding to meeting & greeting visitors.

Volunteering for b-side will give you some memorable moments to treasure, you will meet new people and gain really valuable experience and it will add a positive addition to your CV, especially if you have an interest in events production or arts management.

We can contribute £5 per shift towards travel & food expenses and most shifts last 4 hours or less. Plus, we will try to fulfil any preferences for being matched with a certain artist, location or friend when we finalise the volunteer rota.

All volunteers must be over 18 – Training & Orientation day TBC in August.

Young people aged 18-25 on a low income may be able to earn £15 per shift whilst gaining valuable experience of working within the arts, tourism and the community. This will not affect any benefits received so do contact us for more information.

We need no less than 40 volunteers per day from Friday 5th to Sunday 14th September 2014 so please get involved, tell your friends about us and apply asap – many thanks!

Volunteers also much-needed afternoons, evenings and weekends in July and August to help to clear & decorate one of our installation venues in Fortuneswell.

The owner of the building unfortunately suffered a spinal injury last year and he is letting us use his home for free, so we need people who can lift, clean and paint please!
